14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.

At the final journey, this sight was the most memorable.
A single man walking in front of the hearse of his sheep, leading the way, not forgetting his duty as a shepherd to complete the journey with his sheep and showing her the way towards Christ; even till the end.
A shepherd is required to protect his sheep, feed his sheep, and lead his sheep. This takes a selfless spirit, a humble heart, and a learning mind. There is no glory in being a shepherd, because all glory points towards God.
